CAN Social Action Project from the winning portfolio at UT Austin:
"Keep Austin Fed" features an all volunteer grassroots group working with Austin charities to put food into the hands and mouths of Austin people in need. This video was inspired by the afterlife of cooked food from local restaurants. What happens to it? Where does it go? How can it make a difference? These were the questions our students asked. The answers, so they found, were in hungry homes versus landfills.
