We are very sad to learn of the passing of our dear friend, Steve James. He visited us many times at Dream Guitars, and recorded a number of times for us in our studio. His wit and skill were such a blessing; his playing a joy to behold. He will be missed. We'd like to offer the following as a memorial.
The exceptional Steve James with a performance of "Amos Johnson Rag"--a tune he learned from Sam McGee. Steve breaks the structure and chords down after the song, providing insight along the way, in a mischievous and intelligent style that is pure Steve James.
