In a small clearing stands a hippopotamus, enormous and imposing, yet visibly distressed. Its thick gray skin is dusted with pine needles and soil, and its powerful body rests low to the ground. The hippo breathes heavily, nostrils flaring as it adjusts to the unfamiliar environment. Its small ears twitch constantly, reacting to forest sounds it does not recognize.

One of the hippo’s legs appears trapped or restricted, possibly caught in collapsed ground, heavy debris, or remnants of a man-made structure hidden beneath pine needles. The animal shifts its weight cautiously, careful not to worsen the situation. Despite its strength, the hippo remains largely still, showing signs of fatigue and confusion rather than aggression.
