Lithgow 4wd- Lost City and Glowworm Tunnel

We travel out on another 4wd trip to Lithgow's Lost City & Glowworm Tunnel, a must see if your in the area or even looking for a decent 4wd and camping weekend away.
The Glowworm Tunnels are accessible with any normal vehicle as it is a graded and maintained dirt road in, although it can get quite bumpy and there are a few potholes to navigate through. A 1km walk from the carpark will see you right up inside the tunnels, just make sure you give your eyes some time adjust.
The Lost City is certainty a place to see but you will need a 4wd to out to the area. The track can be quite tricky in spots but generally speaking there is chicken tracks around the very difficult spots. There is quite a few bog holes on the way, usually with hard bottoms (do check prior to sending yourself through one).
Overall the Glowworm Tunnel and Lost city are a must do in the Lithgow area and make for a great camping and 4wd adventure...
