Devidarh to Shikari Devi is one of the toughest snow rides in India. The snow ride starts from Devidarh, which is situated about 60 km from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh. The road to Devidarh is narrow and winding, with steep drops on one side, making it a challenging drive even in normal weather conditions
During the winter months, the road is covered in snow and impassable to drive. However, the world-class professional snow rider of our Rohtang Riders Club still manages to drive on the road.
The ride from Devidarh to Shikari Devi is about 8 km long and takes about two hours to complete. The road is narrow and often covered in snow, and there are steep drops on either side of the road. The ride requires a skilled driver with a good knowledge of snow conditions and driving in extreme weather
On reaching Shikari Devi, one can find a temple dedicated to Goddess Shikari Devi. The temple is situated at an altitude of 11080 Fit and is one of the most sacred places in Himachal Pradesh. The snow ride to Shikari Devi is a breathtaking experience, with stunning views of the snow-clad mountains and valleys.
