The theme of Ares, the Greek god of war. This is the third theme of my series dedicated to the Greek gods and the mythology that refers to it.
Ares represents to me (and even if I am pacifist), the dark and violent part of ourselves. In ancient beliefs, honoring the fear of a deity and his powers was not a sign of weakness, but of awareness of the impermanence that governs the world.

Le thème d'Arès, le dieu Grec de la guerre. C'est le troisième thème de ma série dédiée aux dieux Grecs et à la mythologie qui s'y réfère.
Arès représente à mon sens (et même si je suis pacifiste), la part sombre et violente de notre caractère. Dans les croyances anciennes, honorer la peur qu'on avait d'une divinité et de ses pouvoirs était un signe non pas de faiblesse, mais de conscience de l'impermanence qui gouverne le monde.
