Today's road trip was one we hadn't taken in years. After a busy Thursday in Nicosia, Friday's calendar was totally empty and it gave us the opportunity to enjoy an alternate route to Limassol and discover more beautiful sites.

While people from the capital take this route very often to visit villages on the way, people from Limassol rarely take this route, either to return from Nicosia or drive to Nicosia. The weather was crystal clear and the route was majestic and full of colours (and surprises).

It's been a while since we've enjoyed driving a specific route so much. If you want to drive it yourselves, starting from Nicosia, head to Palaichori, then drive towards Arakapas, Dierona, and then off to Limassol.

About Dierona, it seems that people have been visiting this beautiful little village for the wrong reasons ;)
