Temperate Deciduous Forest-World Biomes

The temperate deciduous forest is a beautiful biome famous for four seasons, and many trees that lose their leaves each winter.

Deciduous forests can be found in the eastern half of North America, and the middle of Europe,eastern China,southeastern Austria,Asia. Japan,
Deciduous forests have very fertile soil.
As a result, You will find Broadleaf trees (oaks, maples, beeches), shrubs, perennial herbs, and mosses
You will also find a large variety of organisms.
Insects, spiders, slugs, frogs, turtles and salamanders are common. Birds like hawks, cardinals, owls, and woodpeckers are also found in this biome. Mammals include white-tailed deer, raccoons, opossums, porcupines,black bears and red foxes.
Climate: Four seasons,
A defining factor of this biome is four seasons.
Take a look at the four seasons
30 and 60 inches of precipitation a year. Precipitation in this biome happens year round.
The average annual temperature in a deciduous forest is 50°
Summer are between 70 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Winters range from 0 to 50 degrees.
