For those who remember Anakin, he came to our clinic on September 18th, 2020 after being electrocuted and found near Guapiles, Costa Rica. Sadly, his right wrist was severely injured leading to amputation the same day.

Luckily, the surgery and healing process went well and although Anakin's recovery took time, he eventually proved that he was strong enough to get #backinthetrees!
He was safely released by our Animal Care Coordinator, Janet Sandi, in the forest of Tirimbina where he will have a second chance at life.

We are wishing you the best of luck, Anakin. We hope you stay away from any trouble in the woods and enjoy a wild life back in the canopy!
