Chrysler New Yorker Rear brake drum upgrade

One of the least favourite jobs for those people who own a vehicle with tapered axles is any work on the brakes. As a result we have seen people who have had diculty removing their rear brake drums resorting to clamping o the rear brake lines instead of maintaining their brakes. Needless to say this is extremely dangerous.

It is dicult to maintain the brakes on vehicles with tapered axles because it takes specialty tools and allot of persistence and patience in order to press the rear drums o the axles. In order to avoid this in the future we modify the rear drums so that they can be removed like a later model Chrysler or Valiant. This ensures that their are no more excuses to not maintain your rear brakes.
