Lexus Transmission Flush / Sealed A-T-F Change and Check Level

This is a complete A-T-F flush on a Sealed Transmission.

BE AWARE;

#1 The Scangauge used in this video costs approximately $120 online and reads the internal temperature of the fluid which is a far more accurate read versus an infrared thurmometer.

#2 This video was made specifically for a SEALED transmission.

#3 104 Fahrenheit is for this car. Look up the specifications on you vehicle to get an accurate read with the Scangauge.

#4 AMSOIL is not easy to find. I do believe that they sell a cheaper line of fluid but for the signature series (THE BEST IN THE WEST) there are only two options; A-T-F (Automatic Transmission Fluid) and A-T-L (Automatic Transmission Light). Use according to the vehicle specifications.

#5 If your transmission has had little or no maintenance and has a bunch of wear and tear on it. You should probably not touch it because the metal shavings and thickness of the fluid can (in a sense) hold it from slipping.
