Q: What made you decide to join Vendition's apprenticeship program?

Alexis Brugler: When I first heard about Vendition, I really hadn't considered a job in tech sales before, I had been in my job search and really didn't know what I wanted to do and Vendition opened the door for me to a lot of different opportunities that I hadn't really considered that also checked a lot of boxes for the kind of workplace I wanted to be in the kind of skills I wanted to be able to use and strengthen during my job. So after my first meeting with Vendition, I knew that it was too good of an opportunity to pass up and it would really allow me to grow in a career that I knew would empower me and I knew would fit all of the boxes that I previously didn't know how to check off.

Q: Describe a time that Vendition helped you on the job or in your career transition.

Alexis Brugler: Transitioning into a new role or career is never a completely seamless process. Vendition really helped me assuage a lot of the fears that I had about making the most out of the opportunity that I was given and building the right skills and best practices moving forward. I know that a lot of my struggles initially came with just not knowing how to structure a day, how to build out my schedule and how to really take charge of exactly what I was doing and have that kind of freedom to know exactly where I was going. And Vendition gave me a lot of confidence in the skills that I was building and always pointed out places that I can improve or even just go a step further to show how invested I was in my career. That kind of confidence is so vital in that transition because it really shows you that you made the right choice and that you always have someone on your back that really wants you to succeed.

Q: Looking to the future, what most excites you about your career in tech?

Alexis Brugler: Having a career in tech is truly an exciting experience. Even in the last 20 years, tech has changed and evolved and adapted so much and being able to be a part of that transition into whatever is next is honestly inspiring. When I started my career, I didn't know I would be in the field that I am today, but it's become a great passion of mine and I get to see on a day to day basis exactly how the technology that we work with truly changes the lives of so many people, and I am so excited to see kind of where my journey is going to take me next.
