"My Four Moms" Throw back to when Stamie and Tracy from the Real L Word pitched a reality show.

Showtime's The Real L Word was a fun experience for Tracy Ryerson and Stamie Karakasids (me" so when we were approached to pitch a show of our story, we said, "why not". It was to cover lesbian parents who split up and how they parent the kids they share. Each household is extremely opposite of each other. Tracy walking into this household and immediately becoming an insta mom- step mom. A lot of work went into prepping this with an amazing producer Nancy Valen and a very experienced and successful production company. We set out to sell it to a network We did get a lot of "no" but we did get a "yes" from a network.
Once contracts started to be drafted, the network wanted the production company to pay for something they never pay for, so they decided to walk away from the network that wanted to buy My Four Moms.
My Four Moms was never made into a full reality show, but this awesome pitch reel was made and I wanted to share and add to our ime capsule on youtube. Lots of things have changed and we have an adorable baby boy now and life keeps moving fast. Hope you like it.
