It all started with a few faded pictures my mom still has from my childhood.Thanks to A.I., some memories came back to life. I just went with the flow, blended some shots together, and here it is.

A testimony of growing up. After all, we just make it up as we go along life, swapping spots with that inner child here and there.

Three foot wonder I was known for
My big head, with a voice that can soar
Seven bellies in ten square meters
Of paradise, well some say gutter
I grew up poor
Though I needed no more
Waiting for my time to come
And every now and then I heard the call

That's the Ice-cream van
Sweetest sound out there
The music of the broken chime
Please tell me what you can
A small escape's good for every man
From the bullies to the angels
We longed for the ice-cream van

Hormones kicked in, never easy
Everything was suddenly cheesy
My life sucked oh let's not go there
Going home's for losers only
Looked real tough but always lonely
A boy no more so not yet a man
Waiting for my time to come
The emptiness' heavier than I can bear

The music chair, the carousel
The fairies wheel of fortune
Gone with the wishing well
I focused on myself
Moved on like everyone else
There's a time to play
A time to bid farewell

Memories of bittersweetness
Mixed with hopes and dreams for the future
The moving truck was loaded with love
That's the moment I ever dreamt of
My eyes're wet so unexpected
One last look, would that be enough
Come on now ice-cream van you'd better show up

Rush rush rush
Life waits for no one
Numbers figures papers building up
In credit history we trust
No escape from the life that chose us
From the bullies to the angels
We push on as we must

Time is changing
Hearts unwinding
I slow down for a moment thinking
What's the rush
After all I made it here
I come back to the place that shaped me
Crushed me, loved me and prepared me
