Meteorologist Dick Faurot is a lifelong angler who spent more than 40 years on television covering weather in Louisiana and Oklahoma, so he's seen it all. During this brief crappie dock fishing outing to a lake near Tulsa, he shares firsthand knowledge of his favorite weather day to go fishing and why. As subtle changes begin to take place on this day in front of an incoming storm that's still a couple of days away, the crappie go from uncooperative to willing participants in short order. By paying attention to what's happening, and making some minor adjustments to his fishing accordingly, it became time to put some crappie in the basket.
