Combining Oats/Heifer Feed On Our Small Family Farm/John Deere 6600 Combine At Work

It's finally time to harvest our oats! To do that, we must wake the sleeping giant; the John Deere 6600 Combine. It's some old-school harvesting power, but it works well for us. Alan is straight-cutting the oats to avoid as many weed seeds as possible. The oats look good and are shoulder-high in many spots. Come along as we hopefully beat the rain and fill the grain bin. The oats will feed the heifers on our small family dairy farm.
