India's new AEW&C to keep an eye on China and Pak Warplanes
Domestically developed, airborne,early warning and, control aircraft , will join the Indian Air Force, on 23rd December , 2016.
The aircraft, will keep an eye, on warplanes of Pakistan Air Force , and the chinese air force, as these fly ,well inside indian borders.

These are based, on a Brazilian airframe,which will give- advanced early warning, to the INDIAN AIR FORCE, about attacking aircraft, and missiles , launched by CHINA, and PAKISTAN.
Indian fighter jets , can then be directed , to intercept and destroy the enemy planes.

It provide 240° coverage, of the airspace around the aircraft.

This radar array is an active electronically scanned array primary radar system with an Identification Friend or Foe system.
The aircraft platform selected is the Brazilian ERJ 145." India initially bought three ERJ 145 planes for $300 million.
India, plans to buy and modify 30 of these planes.
6 were ordered, in 2010 ,and it's been reported, that the Indian air force, plans to acquire 20 more of these aircrafts.
