Lowry Park Zoo Wedding Ituri Forest

The Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa provides a nice Tropical atmosphere for your wedding, and great opportunities for unique and exotic wedding Photography for a Tampa Videographer. Ceremony was at the Ituri Forest, and reception in the Safari Lodge. Photograhy, Video, and DJ was by Celebrations of Tampa Bay http://celebrationsoftampabay.com/. The Ituri Forest gives a tranquil ambient tropical surroundings for the wedding ceremony. Where else can you get married in Tampa, surrounded by Giraffes, Zebras, Pigmy Hippos, and other exotic animals. The bride and groom get to experience Animal Encounters, a time after the ceremony where the guests and bride and groom get to touch and feed exotic animals such as aMeerkat,a Sloth, and more. This was a December wedding so Lowry Park had a Winter Wonderland Area, which was a nice spot for night time photos. Wedding receptions at the Safari Lodge, get some amazing lighting as you see in this video. The staff at Lowry Park Zoo is some of the friendliest people of any Tampa wedding venue.
This wedding was later in the evening, and ran late because the bride wanted to wait for the guests to arrive, so we ended up running out of daylight be the end of the ceremony. The advantages to shooting the formals at night at Lowry Park Zoo is the Mary-go-round shots are better with the lights in the background.
