I’m Clare, welcome to my channel.

In this video I run through all of the seeds I’m sowing this March. Magical March Madness is here! Early Spring is dawning, the garden is waking up and it’s time to make a start on the first month of mass sowings, ahead of Angsty April (the month we all run out of space for our seedlings and get slightly stressed!)

If you haven’t already done it…clean your greenhouse and/or polytunnel, organise your pots and potting mix, sort out your seeds and make sure you have all you need for the season ahead and start sowing! Not everything needs heat to germinate in March, or lights, as we’ve hit that magic number of 10 hours daylight. Nature is signalling to us it’s really time for us to get sowing now.

I take you through everything I’m sowing outside, anything I’m direct sowing and all the things I’m starting in the house in March. I’m really excited but also already wondering where all my seedlings are going to fit.

I am growing more flowers than ever before this year, with some ambitious plans to start landscaping areas of the main garden during the season to create a small cutting patch, for selling bouquets of flowers on a plant stand in the farmyard. Follow along to see these ambitious plans develop and slowly turning the main gardens in to a more interesting and colourful space over the next few seasons.

I have also treated myself to a new seed sowing station from Spider Farmer last month. In this video I’ll give you a little seed station tour, checking in on all that was sown in February.
