Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky tells CNN's Fareed Zakaria that he's ready for negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but says if negotiations fail "that would mean that this is a third World War.


Negotiations about peace, about security for us, about security for ukraine are substantial, fair and without delays. this is the only chance russia has to reduce the harm from its own mistakes. we were always insisting on negotiations, we were always offering dialouge, offering a solution for peace. not only during the 23 days of invasion. and i want everyone to hear me now, especially in moscow the time has come for a meeting, it is time to talk. the time has come to restore territorial integrity and justice for ukraine. otherwise, russia's losses will be such that it will take you several generations to recover. today, there were seven humanitarian corridors in ukraine. six in the sumy region, one in the donetsk region. More than 9000 people were transported from the besieged mariupol. in total, more than 180000 ukrainians have been rescued during the work of the humanitarian corridors. hundreds of tons of essential products have been delivered. but the occupiers continue to block the supply of humanitarian goods is the most directions to the besieged cities. this is absolutely an intentional tactic. they have a clear order to do absolutly everything to make the humanitarian catastrophe in ukraine cities work as an argument for the ukrainians to cooperate with the occupiers. residents continue to be rescued from the rubble of the drama theatre destroyed by the occupiers in mariupol, whre civilians hid from russian shelling and bombs. More than 130 have already been rescued, there are serious injuries among them. but at the moment there is no information about the number of deaths. thanks to the courage and professional training of ukrainian armed forces, the forces of the occupiers were stopped in almost all directions.
