A much more detailed video about WHY the high volume pump is a good idea:
• The BEST Prevention For Hemi Lifter Failur...
🔥 Why this matters:
Idle oil flow on stock Hemi pumps is low — especially for trucks or vehicles idling often (fleet / police / work use)
High-volume pump boosts oil flow by ~12%, matching Hellcat pump output, but retains OEM-like pressure settings
Coupled with an MDS delete + non-MDS lifters + cam + block-off plugs, this setup delivers continuous pressurized oil to lifters and cam — improving long-term engine reliability
🔧 What’s included:
Parts used (oil pump, lifters, cam, block-off plugs, push rods)
Full step-by-step demo: from airbox to oil pan removal, timing cover & pump swap, pickup tube / oil pan removal (for rear-sump trucks), MDS solenoid removal and block-off installation, non-MDS lifter/cam install
Common pitfalls & pro tips — don’t cheap out on lifters, always lubricate O-rings, verify timing marks, etc.
⚠️ Note: Installing a high-volume pump & doing an MDS delete is a **preventative upgrade**, not a cure for existing lifter or cam damage.
