Wheel Effects:

Moves only: valid move orders only

Swaps Allowed: two units that attack each other will swap places

Free Builds: you can build a unit in any supply center you own

Espionage: you can build one unit in another player’s home supply center

Blackout: no press for one year

Identity Crisis: two players swap which powers they control

Weapons of Mass Destruction: Each player nukes someone’s home center and they cannot build any units there

Sanitation: all neutral SCs get put back to neutral

Last Minute Strength: the player with the lowest number of SCs cannot be dislodged

Data Leak: All press must be public this year

Talk talk talk: press is allowed in builds and retreat phases

Diplomacy à trois: all negotiations must be with at least 3 players

Easily Distracted: Convoy orders can be tapped

Altruism: you can only support other players units

Small Power Revenge: Larger powers must publicly submit their orders 1 minute before adjudication and then the smaller powers can react

Inverse Convoys: Armies can convoy fleets over land into other water or coastal territories

Time to get off: any coastal fleet that enters a move order into a land territory in which the coast does not border will be turned into an army and moved there

You look good in pink: On backstabbr we alter the colors from standard to colorblind mode

No retreats: No support holds may be ordered, and all dislodged units must disband



Diplomacy is a negotiation-based board game set during World War One. 7 players each control one great power (England, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Russia, and Turkey) and fight for control of Europe, using their diplomatic skill to make covert deals with one another and to backstab their friends.
