New Delhi, Jan 03 (ANI): Veteran leader of Communist Party of India (CPI) Ardhendu Bhushan Bardhan passed away at the age of 92 after prolonged illness. The senior leader breathed his last at a private hospital in New Delhi, where he was admitted after suffering a paralytic stroke on December 7. A leader of CPI, D. Raja, visited the hospital after hearing the news of Bardhan's demise. Members and party workers of CPI said Bardhan's death was a big loss to the party. Bardhan was a prominent figure of the trade union movement from western Maharashtra state.
