This involves two credit cards that were NOT discharged but are being reported as discharged. The consumer notified Experian twice but Experian refused to fix and instead just "parroted" back what the credit card company said.

The consumer sues under 1681e(b) maximum possible accuracy and section 1681i which is a lousy investigation.

The judge has an excellent discussion of the legal issues.
