Cases of land fraud in the country continue to make a big portion of cases reported to the Police. The police registered 319 cases, in 2020, out of which only 22 were disposed off in the courts of law. According to the Uganda police crime report of 2020 four billion shillings was also lost in fraudulent land transactions.
