In this episode of Racing Stories, I will be telling a story of a forgotten controversial moment in NASCAR. On March 5, 2013, the National Rifle Association sponsored the 2013 Texas Cup Spring Race for a 1-year-deal. That did spark some fire off-track since the deal became official almost 3 months after the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting back in December 14, 2012.
