Скачать или смотреть Very severe pain in a patient of suspected severe Interstitial Cystitis/BPS treated by surgery

This is my 16th patient of Augmentation cystoplasty Alone in a case of IC/BPS. Patient has history of Koch and has taken full treatment for it. He approached me one year back with suprapubic pain and burning micturition. His reports were pointing toward Tuberculosis of kidney and bladder. I treated him with cystoscopy ,hydrodistesion , oral therapy and intravesical therapy but he did not improve. He came back to me in Aug 2022 again and had unbelievable pain. I have not seen any patient with such pain. After expIaining him the pros and cons of surgery I operated him on 23 August 2022. and did Augmentation Cystoplasty Alone without removing any part of bladder. There was no guarantee before surgery that pain will go .It is now 3 weeks after surgeryand patient is much better and passing urine by himself. It is too early to comment about long term results but expect him to improe over 3- 6 months. He can now sleep comfortably and sit and walk easily..
