More than 20 innovative healthcare startups have been selected by Amazon Web Services (AWS) to take part in its inaugural healthcare accelerator. The program, which was announced this month, will provide mentorship to the chosen startups and give them access to AWS’s cloud-based technology. The proposed projects include telehealth, diagnostics, medication delivery, data security, and other healthcare solutions.

At the end of the program, one of the startups will be chosen to be AWS's 'Healthcare Innovator of the Year'. The award will include additional mentorship, access to AWS technology, and marketing support to help the winning startup get their product to the healthcare industry.
