We start on getting the plaster and lath removed in the parlor and dining room. Even though we like plaster, we still need to get our house renovated the right way.

Our goal is to restore the house and that involves fixing damaged areas. To keep the wood save and also refinish it we decided to take it all off and store it in our basement until it goes back on the walls.

Why will we be removing the plaster?
1. inspect the exterior walls for rot and termite damage
2. run electrical and plumbing
3. insulate the entire house
4. remove all the mold that unfortunately has grown due to the fact of not fixing and maintaining the house correctly in the past.
