Sangam Mauli Temples, at Satara, Maharashtra

We have explored a 290-year-old temple on the banks of the Verna and Krishna rivers, around 3.5 km from Satara Railway Station and 28.5 Km from Kaas Pathar. This temple is known as Sri Kashi Vishweshwar Temple at Sangam Mahuli, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It was built in 1735 CE by Shripatrao Pant Pratinidhi. Shahu Maharaj donated this land near the Sangam River Bank to Shripatrao Pant Pratinidhi as a Brahman Dakshina. Pant Pratinidhi donated the land to another Brahmin, Anant Bhat Galande on which these ancient & beautiful temples were built.
