This was part of a combined effort by several fans to preserve what many of us consider to be one of the greatest ensemble casts in the show's history. The tech involved was pretty uncommon at the time including an audio track that was captured near the stage using binaural mics (one for each ear) and recorded to minidisc. Here we are almost 25 years later and it's still my favorite Les Mis recording. I hope you enjoy it too.
