Maruti's XL6 debuted in India on 21 August 2019 and sold at Maruti's Nexa showrooms.

XL6 is a 6-seater with second row captain seats, unlike the international XL7 that comes as a 7-seater. The XL6 available in 3 trim levels: Zeta, Alpha and Alpha+; it is powered by a 1.5-litre smart Hybrid petrol engine paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.
It also gets the option of a CNG variant with the same engine (88 PS and 121.5 Nm) but with just the 5-speed manual transmission.

Claimed Fuel efficiency:
1.5-litre MT: 20.97kmpl
1.5-litre AT: 20.27kmpl
1.5-litre MT CNG: 26.32km/kg

In April 2022, the XL6 was given a minor facelift for the Indian market. trim levels remain the same. For engines, the XL6 is switched to the latest K15C Dualjet 1.5-litre MHEV petrol engine

The XL6 is priced from Rs 11.61 lakh to Rs 14.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Key features include a 7-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 6-speaker ARKAMYS-tuned system (including 2 tweeters), paddle shifters, ventilated front seats and a 360-degree camera. It also gets cruise control, auto AC and a height-adjustable driver seat.

In terms of safety, it gets four airbags as standard, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and electronic stability program (ESP).
