Chinese Family Raises Massive Dog For 2 Years... Then Realize It’s A Bear 😱

A family in #china adopted what it thought was a #puppy , just to discover 2 years later that it was indeed a actual #bear .

Su Yun, who lives in a #village in China said she believed the puppy to be a Tibetan Mastiff, which are huge dogs and a male can weigh up to 150 pounds. However, early on they noticed the pooch’s insatiable appetite and it’s unusual knack for walking on two legs.

The bear who had been living in a loving home till now had to be tranquilized before being taken away by #wildlife rescue.

A family in China says they thought they were raising a Tibetan mastiff puppy. They fed him two buckets of noodles and a box of fruit every day. He didn't stop growing. After two years, they reportedly realized that their dog was a bear. The family then turned over their “puppy” to the local forest authorities ... who then sent it to a rescue and protection center. The Asian black bear is a second-class protected animal species in China. Police say the family is likely to receive a reduced penalty due to their cooperation.
