Excerpt: There have been constant rumors about Volkswagen launching a hot GTX derivative of the ID. Buzz and this model has finally been confirmed. Not only that, but it appears to have been spied during a testing session at the Nurburgring in Germany

Volkswagen has confirmed the ID. Buzz GTX will feature a dual-motor powertrain that is expected to deliver in the region of 330 hp (335 ps/246 kW). This makes it 35-horsepower punchier than the GTX variant of the ID.4 crossover and will shave some half or maybe a full second from 0-60 mph (0-97 kph) sprint of the regular ID-Buzz, which can do it in almost eight seconds aided by its single-motor generating 282 hp. Mind you, that's hardly sports car territory, but the GTX version of the ID. Buzz sits in the people-carrying league, so its performance will be impressive for a vehicle in this segment.
