King Arthur (2004) - Tribute to the Mysterious Shaman, Merlin...

Merlin is a mysterious figure whose origin is uncertain. He is unanimously identified as the mysterious leader of the Woad. He has no specific home but dwells in the forests of Briton. He is a master of guerilla warfare; a leader who has trained his fighters to meld into their natural environment after each short attack. This fact seemed to mystify the enemy, and tended legends of magic.

Merlin is no magician... nor sorcerer... He uses his knowledge of the land, the natural environment. He cannot summon rainstorms, or snow, he merely sees the natural signs forthcoming and uses it in predictions, or firmaments changing the face of history.

He is a political chieftain, oft claimed to be a druid. Considered the last of the druid, Merlin, the Celtic shaman, priest of nature, and keeper of knowledge, particularly of the hidden secrets, led his people against the Romans and the Saxons for many years. After Arthur's ascent to the throne, Merlin lives with him and Guinevere, for brief moments in Camelot, providing guidance and advising him on healing the land.
