Rulon - part 2 - scraping, depth of cut, oil grooves

Описание к видео Rulon - part 2 - scraping, depth of cut, oil grooves

I tried to maximize the use of my test piece/Rulon application, and made a number of cycles, eg. normal push hand scraping, pull scraping with different degree of force, BIAX scraping and even some BIAX flaking (just for testing.. as I understand, this is not needed on a way liner material, or have I misunderstood?)
The point of showing the depth of cut is that this is up to 10x the normal used on cast iron. As the "Professor" will tell you it is needed to avoid stick slip (this can apparantly also happen on Turcite/Rulon or the likes).
The oil grooves should be cut after all scraping has been done of course, the video sequencing was a little "off". Sorry for that.
I also should emphasize that I "cheated" on the use of the same scraping insert as normal.. I should have ground it to a more negative angle (I talk about 10-15 or 20 degrees, but I may remember incorrectly.. was it 20-30?) and also used a narrower blade with less radius.
LAZY guy!

NB! This is my "amateur" work, and the "performance" and advice is as follows..
However, there has been a number of articles/discussions on this already so pls. consult the "industry" if you need pro-advice, eg. Richard (King).
