"My second instrumental from Alter Bridge's new album. I've kept the mix quite similar to the previous one with a few changes in areas, where I wanted to try a new technique or effect. The reference mix is the original. Alter Bridge tends to experiment quite a lot with guitar effects, since they are a really guitar focused band, which is also apparent from this song. Typically this makes nailing the sounds a bit harder and thus I had to experiment with the effects available to me. No parts were particularly difficult to play, but getting the sound right in the breakdown and transcribing the song took a while. Alter Bridge almost always layers a second or even third guitar to bring out the chords in the song, and getting the voicing right can be a challenge."
