Okay some big news for Rainbow Six Siege fans. Operation Shadow Legacy is coming, and we are getting a full reveal of everything Sunday, August 16th. But for now, they’ve given us a massive teaser. Sam Fisher, from Splinter Cell will be the newest operator under the name “Zero”. This news is big. It breaks the mold on several levels. First off, new Rainbow Six Siege operators have always arrived in pairs. Sam Fisher, codename “Zero” will be introduced as the sole character for season 3. We haven’t seen Sam Fisher headline a game in like, seven years, so this announcement could also be hinting an upcoming Splinter Cell game. There’s also an unofficial leak showing that he’ll be able to deploy several cameras by shooting them out with a special gun. I’m sure we’ll hear more about it during the Twitch event on Sunday, but I’m not sure how excited to actually get. The crossover is cool, but does it make up for only getting one new operator next season?
