sCrypt is a high-level programming language that compiles down to Bitcoin Script. This allows us to work at a higher level of abstraction, similar to how one moves from coding directly in Assembly Language to working with a high-level language like Javascript.

In Part 1 of this multi-part series, we will be installing sCrypt, write our first contract, and discuss the meaning of various parts of the contract.
