Time to go back to my favorite version of gregtech, the latest one, made by it's creator.
If you never heard of it, be ready for something that will look simultaneously familiar but different from any other gregtech version you have seen so far.


I'm going to use bear's modpack with some minor tweaks.

In this run i'm going to be a little be more relaxed but i will also try to properly split the different kinds of tasks i will be doing.
I may mix those up in the future by adding the initial of an other tag if i end up mixing things. the tags i'm going to use are:
[intro] was for the first episode since it's kinda of "special".
[E] - [exploration] means i'm going to spend most of the time running around looking for stuff that could be useful.
[G] - [grind] doing repetitive tasks i have already shown/explained, i'll use it when i'm just digging, microcrafting and farming.
[P] - [progress] doing, showing, explaining new game mechanics and new machines.
[B] - [building] building things, could be from empty rums to automated setups which don't use new concepts.
while i'll be trying to split those tasks in themed streams as much as possible, it's going to be impossible to do so properly and i will also have to figure out how to deal with things that might end up taking just 30 minutes ( i could stop the stream, take a break and then start again with a new task).

I'm here for playing minecraft, not for small talk.
Please avoid asking me things that are not strictly related or relevant to what i'm doing at the moment.
If you need help for specific things or what to discuss whatever else, discord is the place.
Also try to watch for a few minutes before asking questions, i'm tired of people asking me things i just finished explaining; if you need some tutorials, look proper tutorials on youtube or ask for help on discord.

Since i keep getting asked the exact same three pointless questions, i'm going to add some limitations to the livestream chat.
Still, here's the answers to those questions, which i'm going to ignore from now on:

Q: what is the endgame goal?
A: Having fun by enjoying a mod that has some non-trivial mechanics that are different from the usual "connect every machine to a main cable and throw ingredients in the machine to get an output and make a 50-step-long-machine-chain-because-why-not".

Q: How different is Gregtech 5 from Gregtech 6?
Short A: WATCH THE VIDEO.
Long A: how do i even measure the difference between two mods/games? I think you could say that GTNH is more similar to startech/nomifractory/genericAE2machinespam than gt6 is similar to gt5u/ports. still, the two mods share many things. gt6 has a lot of things that recall of terrafirmacraft, but it's way more focused on tinkering and automating machines than the tfc/usualgt5portpack grind and microcrafting.

Q: what do you think of X modpack? will you play X modpack?
A: When i'm done with this pack, i'll think on what to do next. also 99% of the time the suggested packs are just an other overhyped game where all you do is the usual things but with different textures and names. and most likely those are totally made up materials. i like stuff like gregtech, terrafirma and reika becuase those mods try to be interesting, unique and somewhat realistic.
