Day 1: Travel Day
Day 2: Arrive in Helsinki
Day 3: Helsinki
• Helsinki Walking Tour with a City Planner
• Helsinki Christmas Market – Senate Square
Day 4: Ferry to Tallinn, Estonia for the day
• Start in lower (old) town -
o Hellemann Tower (Climb tower and walk the walls) 4
o St. Catherine’s Passage
o Christmas market - Town Hall Square
o St. Nicholas Church
o Freedom Square – access to upper town
• Upper Town
o Kiek in de Kok Tower (climb towers, walk wall, museum) 12
o Alexander Nevsky Cathedral
o Toompea Castle (across from cathedral)
o Kohtuotsa and Patkuli Viewpoints
Day 5: Helsinki
• Helsinki Winter Garden
• Kaisaniemi Botanic Garden
• Museums or other activities in Helsinki
Day 6: Helsinki to Rovaniemi
• Suomenlinna fortress
• Helsinki to Rovaniemi via Santa Express Night Train
Day 7: Rovaniemi
• Reindeer Ride
• Santa Claus Village
Day 8: Rovaniemi
• Snowshoeing Trip to Korouoma
Day 9: Rovaniemi
• Snowmobile Safari Into the Arctic Circle Forest
• Santa Clause Village or Museum in Rovaniemi
Day 10: Rovaniemi
• Amethyst Mine Tour
Day 11: Rovaniemi
• Husky Tour
• Transfer to Arctic Snow Hotel and Check-in
Day 12: Rovaniemi to Lapland
• Check out of Arctic Snow Hotel
• Transfer to Rovaniemi via Bus
• Check-in to Kakslauttanen
Day 13: Lapland
• Cross-Country Skiing Lesson or Other Excursion
• Planetarium and observation Tower (West Village)
Day 14: Lapland to Helsinki
• Check out of Kakslauttanen
• Take bus to Rovaniemi
• Santa Clause Express night train to Helsinki
Day 15: Travel Day Home
