British Sky Broadcasting Group plc (BSkyB) has renewed its Landmark™ broadcast and multimedia sales software contract for five years — with an additional three-year extension option. BSkyB and Imagine Communications work together on new Landmark software functionalities to address future media sales challenges.

Landmark sales software enables BSkyB's sales house, Sky Media, to administer commercial spot advertisements across 200 Sky-owned and partner channels, totaling more than 24 million advertising spots per year. Powerful automated features across ratings management, spot booking, traffic and reconciliation allow Sky Media to achieve effective airtime utilization and multi-channel management at scale.

"Sky Media has been using Landmark for nearly five years, and this renewal reflects our belief, based on experience, that this platform is the best way to address the challenges of our core spot sales, addressable and non linear advertising," said Nick Milligan, managing director, Sky Media.
