Strategy: sandstorm, bulk up, rest + heal cheer when HP gets low. high horsepower until your stats reset. 6x bulk up, charge tera orb with high horsepower, terastalize, high horsepower to victory.

Pros: supereffective tera type matching base type, excellent HP and atk stats. phenomenal def stat. outspeeds emboar, immune to wild charge, resists head smash, sandstorm cancels sun to block boost to flare blitz, bulk up buffs 1 atk stage and 1 def stage. high horsepower has a 95 base power, 95 accuracy, and it deals supereffective STAB (tera-boosted when terastalized) damage. rest heals full HP bar. cover cloak prevents burns from flare blitz (normally 10% chance).

Cons: cannot debuff def or ensure critical hits, so damage output gets cut in half after emboar's double scripted bulk up. drought ability puts up the sun on turn 0, which gives a 1.5x damage boost to flare blitz. this wastes a move slot and turn for sandstorm to cancel the sun. typing invites spamming of flare blitz, increasing chance of burn and necessitating covert cloak, preventing use of shell bell or metronome. high horsepower misses 5% of the time.
