In this video, I introduce Buddy — an offline AI assistant I’ve been building from scratch.

I created Buddy to solve real problems I experienced with existing AI tools:
• Long conversations losing context
• Irrelevant or junk responses
• Privacy concerns with cloud-based systems

Buddy is designed to think more like a human. It can:

• Create and retrieve its own memories
• Organize and clean those memories over time
• Take action inside the computer
• Operate the operating system safely
• Execute tasks instead of just responding with text
• Run fully offline for privacy and control

One of the most important features is its memory consolidation system — inspired by how the human brain organizes memories during sleep. Buddy reviews its stored information, removes duplicates, summarizes related ideas, and clears unnecessary data to stay efficient and organized.

Buddy is not just a chatbot. It can reason, remember, and act.

This project represents my passion for building intelligent, private systems that are practical and continuously improving.

This is just version one.
