Spicy Dum Aloo Recipe in Pressure Cooker | मटन चिकन के स्वाद वाली दम आलू की सब्जी | Dum Aloo Recipe

दम आलू या आलू दम या आलू दम एक आलू आधारित करी व्यंजन है। दम का मतलब होता है धीमी आंच पर पका हुआ और आलू आलू होता है।

Ingredients --
आधा किलो आलू
एक कच्चा प्याज
आधा चम्मच लाल मिर्च पाउडर
आधा चम्मच धनिया पाउडर
हल्दी पाउडर
एक तिहाई चम्मच जीरा पाउडर
सौंफ का चूरा
एक टमाटर
दो हरी मिर्च
अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट
नमक (स्वादानुसार)
एक छोटा चम्मच नमक
सर्सो टेल
दो प्याज
आधा चम्मच कश्मीरी मिर्च
एक छोटा चम्मच गरम मसाला
पानी

Ingredients In english -
Half a kilo of potatoes
One raw onion
Half a teaspoon of red chili powder
Half a teaspoon of coriander powder
Turmeric powder
One third teaspoon of cumin powder
Fennel powder
One tomato
Two green chilies
Ginger garlic paste
Salt (as per taste)
One teaspoon of salt
Mustard oil
Two onions
Half a teaspoon of Kashmiri chili
One teaspoon of garam masala
Water



Instructions --
1 - Cut half a kilo of potatoes into pieces
2 - Add one raw onion, half a teaspoon of red chili powder, half a teaspoon of coriander powder, turmeric powder, one third teaspoon of cumin powder, a little bit of fennel powder, one tomato, two green chilies, ginger garlic paste, and salt as per taste to the potatoes
3 - Add a little bit of mustard oil and mix everything together
4 - Leave the mixture for 10 minutes so that the salt and water get absorbed
5 - Fry two onions until dark
6 - Add half a teaspoon of Kashmiri chili and half a teaspoon of turmeric to the onions
7 - Add the potato mixture to the onions and fry until the oil separates
8 - Add a teaspoon of garam masala and water (the same water in which the potatoes were marinated)
9 - Cook on medium flame until the potatoes are cooked (about 60-70%)
10 - Cook on low flame for 10 seconds
11 - Serve hot with rice
