How to Change Your Air Filter and Cabin Air Filter - [2000 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE]

I am showing you how to change your air filter and cabin air filter using my 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE as an example. I bought this truck with 260,000 miles on the clock and I want to make sure I keep this truck for a while and who knows if the previous owners even did regular maintenance. The process should be the exact same if you have a 1999-2007 GMC Sierra or 1999-2007 Chevrolet Silverado.

If you have a question as to where your air filter or cabin air filter is, you should be able to see it in your owner's manual and you have plenty of photos online that you can find.
