Di2 E-Tube Project Windows V4 - corrupt and recover firmware using the charger

Update: here is another attempt - I REALLY cannot 'brick' my FD-6870 with the SM-BCR2...    • I REALLY cannot break my 6870 FD  

In this video I quickly corrupt the firmware on a component (shift lever) by executing a "firmware rewrite" to it and then disconnecting the bike after about 25% - 30%.

I then reconnect the bike and run E-Tube again. You can now recover (some) corrupt firmware using the charger, which is great news. It seems you no longer need to use the SM-PCE1 / SM-PCE02 to recover firmware.

Disclaimer: it is possible that you cannot recover every corrupt component using the charger and that you still need the SM-PCE for some of those.. so don't go around corrupting and recovering every component you see ;-)
