⚠️ Why Is Indian Medicine Still Treated Unfairly Even After 75 Years of Independence?
🌿 It’s been over seven decades since India became free but our own ancient systems of healing like Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy are still not free from bias. Laws, bureaucrats and policies continue to favor Western medicine, while sidelining Indian wisdom.

✅ Examples of Discrimination In Rajasthan, allopathic doctors’ retirement age was extended by 2 years but not Ayurvedic doctors’. Even after the High Court ordered equality, the government didn’t implement it and went to the Supreme Court instead. Bureaucrats keep delaying justice by seeking more dates, hoping Ayurvedic doctors retire before equality is achieved.
✨ Outdated Laws Still Rule The Drugs and Magic Remedies Act, 1954, copied from colonial British law, forbids Ayurvedic doctors from even talking about cures for 54 diseases including diabetes, cancer, blindness, and paralysis though these have ancient treatments in Charak Samhita, Sushruta, and other classical texts. This law was originally designed by the British to promote allopathy and suppress Indian healing systems.🧘 What Needs to Change -A new Indian Medical Code should replace the colonial law. Health Science education should begin from Class 1 to 8 teaching Yoga, fasting, natural food, and lifestyle. Every school should have a Health Guide to teach children about Ayurveda, diet, and Naturopathy. A new Integrated Medical Course must be introduced — like Law and MBA programs — where all students study basic medicine together before specialization.
🌱Foreign pharma lobbies and medical mafias influence health ministers and secretaries through money and power. Their goal is to keep Western medicine dominant and Indian systems suppressed.But remember no one ever died from Yoga, Pranayama, or Ayurveda. Yet, chemical drugs continue to harm thousands. It’s time India reviews and reforms its medical laws.
