Why you should not apply to freelance translation jobs online if you are a beginner

Freelance translation jobs// If you speak multiple languages and have wanted to work from home, I am sure you have been looking to find freelance translation jobs online. And I know that because the other day it dawned on me that most of the people who I’ve been working with or who have reached out to me, interested in freelance jobs online, were looking into translator part time jobs.

However, over time I have come to realize that freelance translation jobs, just as much as data entry jobs from home, are not the best, especially for beginners.

As much as you would think that getting a freelance translation job should be easy if you already speak the languages, that would be a false assumption. Especially if you speak some of the frequently spoken languages (English, Spanish, French).

Now, let’s be clear. I am not saying “Don’t apply for freelance translation jobs online!”. Not at all. I am just saying that you need to do it in a smart way, find ways to drive higher impact and bring more value to your customer.
