Walking In Finland: The Esplanade in Helsinki City Centre (Nov 2021)

Описание к видео Walking In Finland: The Esplanade in Helsinki City Centre (Nov 2021)

A narrated 4K walk in Helsinki city centre from the Railway station through to Aleksanterinkatu and Esplanadi park. Please note the external microphone did not record for this walk, apologies for the poor quality of the audio (I have since replaced the audio system I use - this should be the last video with issues, yay!).

The walk starts as the train arrives at Helsinki Central Station. I walk through the station building opened in 1919 and make my way through the Citycenter shopping mall to Kaivopiha and Aleksanterinkatu opposite the Stockmann department store that was opened in the 1930s. I take Keskuskatu over to the Svenska teatern theater and continue to Esplanadinpuisto (Esplanade park).

The path through the park goes through to Kauppatori, the market square on the seaside with views of Allas Sea Pool, Presidentinlinna (presidential offices), city hall and Uspenski Cathedral, an orthodox church from the 1860s. The walk ends at the seaside redbrick buildings in Katajanokka now in use by restaurants and cafes.

This narrated walk is 4K at 60 FPS and was recorded with DJI Pocket 2 and iPhone 11 on 2nd November 2021.
